Saint Vincent De Paul
On Wednesday the 11th of October, a guest speaker called Paddy Daly came to our school to talk to us about St Vincent De Paul. He had prepared a power-point on the topic and showed it to the class. First, he talked about the background of the organisation and then moved on to “what they do”. Paddy then asked us questions about SVP and would give a pen out to the people who answered and got the question right. He also gave us some sour strawberrie sweets. At the end of his speech he had coloured pieces of paper that we would have to put in a box to rate his speech. For example, green was for good and red was for bad.
Overall, I thought Paddy’s speech was very interesting and enjoyable. I also like the freebies he gave out to the class!
